I live in Sunny South Africa where the drums of life are beating out a steady beat everyday. I am privileged to live in South Africa in these times as I am part of the changes taking place and am constantly amazed at what our country is busy achieving both for our people and overseas as well.
We recently hosted the FIFA world cup and this tournament was hailed as the best by far by many people that frequented our beautiful stadiums, tasted our cuisine and lived our culture.
I am married and am a mother for two sons, stepmother for two sons and a daughter and grandmother of one. I love each person in my life for their own unique personalities and strive to be the best wife, mother, stepmother and grandmother to them all.
I have explored many avenues in my life career-wise. I was a nurse and then I became an Estate agent where I learned more about people than I ever wanted. Then I pottered around in the financial arena where I was a financial adviser and even though I am not in that industry anymore, I still get some of my clients calling me for information.
I then started to become interested in Internet related topics and I learned about content management systems, blogging, forums and social sites. What a wonderful journey of discovery I had!
When I discovered freelancing, I was over the moon with excitement. I discovered an opportunity where I can offer my skills and get paid for it.
Where in the world do you get a job where you get paid to do something you enjoy? Well, I have found just that!
